MOBLEY BLOOMFIELD IS AN ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO IN SAN FRANCISCO. ESTABLISHED IN 2005, WE ARE A PARTNERSHIP THAT BRINGS TOGETHER OUR SHARED SENSIBILITIES AND PASSION FOR ART, DESIGN, AND BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED SPACES.
Who We are

We are artists, in constant contact with color, texture and pattern, always searching for a deeper awareness of these qualities. We embrace the challenge of finding harmony in spatial relationships and between the competing elements of form, material, light and color.

Jennifer Mobley is a native San Franciscan who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, and honed her skills in fashion and home furnishing studios in New York and San Francisco. She spent part of her childhood in England and France collecting impressions that imbue her work today; a balance of man-made and natural beauty and a blend of old and new. Jennifer is an experienced lecturer in the Architecture, Interior Design and Fashion Degree Programs at the California College of the Arts on color and materiality in design. In addition to her interior design work, Jennifer paints, designs fabric, and enjoys photographing the strange, wonderful, and beautiful objects around her.

Bill Bloomfield is a licensed architect with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. In his formative years Bill lived and worked in Europe; in Helsinki, as a student with Heikkinen-Komonen working on the New Finnish Embassy for Washington, D.C., and later in Berlin, as the project manager for international architecture competitions with Peter W. Schmidt Architekten. In 1996, he returned to the U.S. where he worked with Michael Ryan Architects in New Jersey and Studios Architecture in California. When not chasing waves along the California coast, Bill can be found exploring the vibrant San Francisco art world or painting in his studio.

What we do

Together, we create beautiful, timeless spaces.

We help our clients express themselves through the look and feel of their environment. Whether the project includes architecture, interior design, furniture design, textile design or color consulting, our complementary skills bring a fresh perspective and new ideas.

It is important to us that you enjoy the process as well as the outcome. We start with a conversation. We ask you about the things that mean the most to you and why. We listen and observe, then come back to you with sketches, models, mood boards, materials, and colors. You tell us what you respond to, and we build from there. The result is uniquely warm and personal.
